Akira always signed up for the camps in the brochures that came in the mail. They always came near summer vacation, which she thought was creepy, as if the people who sent them always knew when summer vacation started for kids. At the last day of school, the brochures came with all the other junk mail and grown- up stuff (btw, Akira was thirteen in case you're wondering). There were three in all.
One was a three day beading and jewelry camp, learning to make jewelry, bleah. She tossed it in the trash. The second was an astronomy camp, five days with food, lodging, and staying up late to w

Shipwreck - Fox TF [Commission]
The loud sound of crashing waves reverberated throughout the beach, the long bodies of water bringing sturdy planks of the wood to the nearby shore – an unfamiliar sight to all of the tropical birds native to the island, who didn’t hesitate in examining those boards in search of potential food. The scorching equator climate combined with the loud chirping of the seagulls woke Andrew up, who previously was in a deep slumber on the island’s shore – him and his torn clothes being the only things there that weren’t made out of wood.
Tired and hungry, Andrew slowly opened his eyes before instinctively using his arms

Well, here's the first three chapters of Fur Trade. I hope you'll enjoy it.
By the way, those three stories Daren and Zelda were talking about in chapter 2 were based on stories I'd read which have a couple things in common: They have TFs and aren't completed for various reasons. . . . No, I'll not write on how I think they'll end without the original writers involvement. Also, I'd asked each of them permission to use them if I'd link them the chapter. So, without further ado, here are the authors and the stories in order.

Unnamed Story:
Story - CH 1 Kaz was wakened by his mother, who had just walked in, flipped on the light, and left to make breakfast. It was like that every morning, and always seemed to shatter whatever dream he was having. Rolling to the side of his bed, he rubbed his eyes, trying to get them to focus. He looked around his room with bleary eyes, examining the mess cluttered against the walls. He tended to attract things, random things, but couldn't part with them for some reason.
Standing, he walked over to his dresser, gathered some clothes, and headed to the bathroom to find it locked. Banging on the door, he shouted at his sister, the only other one in the house
Fire:
Fire It was a very cold day in January. Despite the cold outdoors it was nice and warm in the third floor of the school. For whatever reason I had noticed that while The algebra classes were very warm year round, all other classes were kept very cold. Even in summer the algebra wing was kept hot and the English wing on the first floor remained cold. It was nice to have the soft honey color of the lights in the class room, it not only added to the warmth but it also gave the room a nice feel. It was the last period of the day and already it looked like night outside, the sun had disappeared and I could see snow falling lightly outside. It was unus

Very well written. The story flows much better than I expected it would, Professional-level easily. The only potential sticking point I saw was with the story transfer mid-way through, but I admit it can be difficult to swap the entire cast around on the fly. I think you did it very well.
It certainly wasn't what I expected from your note, and that's not a bad thing at all. I expected you to just re-hash my story, not leave it as an open-ended cameo. I don't call credit strictly necessary in that case, but appreciate it all the same.
I say again, Nice read, even if the subject matter isn't necessarily to my personal liking. Bravo, and I expect I'll be reading more from you when I have the time.
